The situation in Armenia is inconsistent with the logic of parliamentarism - Garik Keryan

If snap parliamentary elections are held in December, the RPA will not be able to participate in them with the current resources.

Now in Armenia, the situation is inconsistent with the logic of parliamentarism. Head of the Chair of Political Institutions and Processes of YSU, Doctor of Political Sciences Garik Keryan explains this situation as follows: the executive branch is in the hands of one political force, while the legislative power is in the hands of the opposition.

With regard to this opposition force, that is, the Republican Party, does it have any resources to resist, or will it go to “self-destruction”? Answering this question, Garik Keryan first notes that “self-destruction” is a rather sharp definition. “The Republican Party will exist in political life for quite a long time, even if it does not rule, even as a minority, even as an extra-parliamentary force. It will exist as the Armenian Allnational Movement has existed,” the political analyst emphasizes.

According to Garik Keryan, if snap parliamentary elections are held in December, the RPA will not be able to participate in them with the current resources. Find the details in the program “Paradigm”.
